"I love love love love de daun. Definitely worth the splurge. We checked in at 2pm, chose our breakfast menu for the next day.. Had our tea at the restaurant while they put in our luggage in the villa and once everything was ready they showed us in and the only thing i could say was "wow". The room was cool, they had music playing in the room, fresh apples on the table, rose petals on the bed and frangipani flowers everywhere.. They gave us welcome drinks and a lovely chocolate mousse honeymoon cake. We ordered room service 'the villa de daun special pizza' and it was damn delicious. While we went out for dinner and came back, they had turned down the bed and the lighting. As for breakfast they didnít cook in the villa though but had it prepared beforehand and called us before they entered the villa (we had scheduled breakfast at 9am and they were punctual). We had our foot massage before leaving for the airport at 12.30pm and the spa was just lovely. The area was quiet like it wasn't at all in the middle of busy Legian. The villa is just across Adi Dharma cottages (where I stayed for 2 nights). Money changer, massage salons, minimarts all just there in front of the entrance of the villa. One night was definitely not enough."

"This is to sincerely thank you for your hospitality for my stay. It was my first time to visit Denpasar. Your hotel to me is a lovely, nice "secret" - hiding in a lane way, quiet and safe. Once in, it is a tranquil paradise - full of beautiful tropical plants and flowers, friendly tentative staff. The decoration inside the villa is unique, blending into the outside arrangement.... The little free internet room is very thoughtful, with its own air-conditioning...I only good words for your hotel and will not hesitate to recommend it to any one, especially honeymooners, or anyone for a 'second' or 'third' honeymoon. We are all looking forward to seeing you there again."

"Hi to all at the beautiful Villa de daun, we were so pleased with our stay at your villas this June 17-20! We have just arrived back in Melbourne and had the most beautiful time in Bali . I hope you will be pleased to know that we thought Villa de daun was absolutely fantastic, there is not enough nice things to say about it.
To start...your staff are so nice and friendly. All of the Balinese are so friendly and during our stay in Bali we received the best service ever in 20 years.
Your villas are gorgeous and so well set out. The bed is comfortable, pool amazing, all the amenities were beautiful and of good quality and the free mini bar was such a great bonus! And everything was so clean which of course is so important. The food at Villa de daun was great. The breakfast was lovely (especially the banana pancakes). Afternoon tea was also lovely. I felt we were so well looked after, again I must comment on your such polite, attentive and pleasant staff and the fantastic security held in place! All the transport organised by Villa de daun was also excellent. The spa experience was so enjoyable, and the spa rooms so relaxing, what a perfect ambience. I'm sure I've missed out on plenty of good things but just take note that we enjoyed absolutely everything at Villa de daun. Thank you so much for such a beautiful first impression of Bali ! Thanks once again."

"Villa de daun is exceptional. Excellent facilities for a truly relaxing stay. Located more towards Legian...it is a short stroll from the busy streets of Kuta but feels a world away. Luxury accommodation and wonderful staff. Definitely recommended to those who want a little bit of luxury but still like to explore and be in the heart of it all."

“Villa de daun has a rare blend of Villa exclusivity coupled with the convenience of hotel service. Having your private grounds and private pool made you feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta - very quiet and tranquil. But the benefit of room service and house keeping meant that you didn't have to fend for yourself or pay over the top prices for your in-villa services. Highly recommend a stay here over the 5 star resorts of Nusa Dua.”
